Kanaga House is an elegant Bed and Breakfast located on US 11, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania We are in the center of the Carlisle, Gettysburg, Hershey, Lancaster vacation region. Located two to three miles from I-81 and the PA Turnpike the Carlisle Pike (US 11) is a main route but still maintains the old country atmosphere.

Our Policies:

- Minimum stay requirements: 2 to 3 night requirements on special event weeks only.
- Smoking: permitted on patios, no smoking permitted in buildings.
- We accommodate all business, leisure travelers and children.
- No pets please.
- Check in time is after 2 pm. Check out time is l1 am.
- A credit card must accompany all reservations.
- Corporate and government rates are available.
- Cancellations: If cancelled rooms cannot be backfilled, persons will be charged the full reservation amount when canceling reservation less than 3 days before the reservation start date and less then 14 days before special events dates. There will be no charges for back filled dates.

Kanaga (c.1775) was opened as a bed and breakfast in 1989 where there is old world charm with modern facilities and private baths. Four of our seven rooms have canopy beds and one has a fireplace. The first floor Garden Room with a king size bed, private entry and patio is a favorite honeymoon suite.

We are delighted that you have considered spending your getaway or business travel with us. We offers beautiful landscaped grounds, large gazebo with tables, downstairs common rooms with fireplaces and breakfast at your time.

The dining room can seat 32 for dinner. Parties up to 75 can be accommodated if it is served buffet. With tenting, many more. The dining room also doubles as a meeting room with other break-out rooms on the first floor.

- The National Civil War Museum is in Harrisburg and we suggest you stop there on your way to Hershey.
- An ideal setting for weddings, business meetings, and family reunions. Fond memories are made at Kanaga House and our staff is always praised for their outstanding performance.
- Carlisle is only minutes away. There you will find the Cars at Carlisle at the fairgrounds, the Army War College which was at one time home of the Carlisle Indian School (Jim Thorpe's Alma Mater), Army Heritage Museum, Dickinson College, Dickinson Law School, and wonderful restaurants and shops.
- Well known fly fishing streams such as the Yellow Breeches and Letort Springs Run are in the area. Appalachian Trail and Ski Roundtop are nearby.
