The Proprietor, Ann Marie Kenny drew her inspiration from her experiences as a child spending summers with her grandmother Josephine. Ann Marie has captured some of the magic and simplicity of those early years when you could enjoy summers swimming, eating and strolling outdoors with family and friends. The town of Hull, Massachusetts afforded the perfect setting for this inspiration.

Josephine's Bed & Breakfast provides a restful retreat. Guests will feel the "homey" experience that hotels and motels often lack. Be prepared for a breakfast which features outstanding food because the original "Josephine" was a gourmet cook and taught her granddaughter all her culinary secrets.

Our Inn is located only steps to a beautiful sandy beach and picturesque Scituate Harbor, where fine restaurants, quaint shops, and galleries abound. "Widows Walk, an "Award Winning" public golf course, is located only one mile away, making for a perfect golf weekend or a lucky hole in one. There are fishing boats for charter with Striped Bass and Blue Fish awaiting your baits.

We are situated on the New England Coast, 25 miles south of Boston, and 25 miles North of Plymouth; a perfect location for day trips to Newport Rhode Island, Cape Cod, Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard and don't forget our beautiful fall foliage.
