The Gallets House in Allegany, NY has been restored by the descendants of the original owners. It is an 1800’s Victorian Bed & Breakfast that features historic tours and Victorian teas. In Franklinville NY is the Miners Cabin [ not a cabin at all but a grand mansion] which was built in the 1860’s by a successful miner upon his return from the Alaskan gold mines. The Seneca Nation of Indians has a National Museum and the Seneca Nation Library in Salamanca, NY. Learn about the culture and heritage of the nation. The Seneca Nation is one of the original Five Nations of the Iroquois Confederacy: the Seneca, Cayuga, Onondaga, Oneida and Mohawk. It was later expanded to be Six Nations when the Tuscarora tribe was included. Try your luck at the Seneca-Allegany Casino.
