Millbrook Country Inn & Restaurant is a classic cape-style farm house built by Jack Dana in the 1850's. He located his farmhouse close to his lumber and brick mills on the nearby Mill Brook. Today the mills are long gone and Millbrook Inn's picturesque setting is midway between the ski slopes and the village of Waitsfield on scenic Mill Brook Road (Route 17). Henry & Ginny Perkins purchased Millbrook Country Inn in 1948 from Jack Dana's estate and turned it into a bed and breakfast inn the same year that skiers first schussed the slopes of Mad River Glen.
