Moab is close to several national and state parks that made it a popular destination. Just a few miles north of town is Arches National Park, which contains the world’s largest concentration of natural sandstone arches, including the world-famous Delicate Arch, in addition to a variety of unique geological resources and formations. For the outdoor enthusiast there is a wealth of opportunities for adventure, from river rafting to backcountry 4 wheel drive tours in a Hummer® that can virtually navigate any terrain and it takes you to the top of an awe-inspiring overlook for unforgettable memories. You’ll find a large selection of restaurants to suit all tastes from fast food to world-class gourmet cuisine.
The majestic La Sal Mountains in La Sal serves as a beautiful backdrop to the town attaining heights of 12,721 feet.
