The town of Tropic not far from Panguitch is filled with some beautiful vistas, plateaus and sunsets that can dazzle the eye, the amazing terrain varies from red rock to high mountain forests. Many western films were filmed in Tropic and Kanab, known as Utah's Little Hollywood because of the large number of motion pictures that were filmed in the surrounding area. The town of Rockville lies in a beautiful green valley with the Virgin River running through it, while Saint George known as "Utah's Dixie" provides some of the most beautiful scenes found anywhere.
