Park City in winter is neatly divided to suit all levels of skiing. There are many ski lifts to take you to all the pistes, there is also the town lift which starts on Park City’s historic main street. For experts and ambitious intermediates there’s the top bowls and black diamond. About a mile away you’ll find Deer Valley, The Canyons with eight incredible mountain peaks and Snowbird, is where you can take the trails themselves rather than the highways. Visit the marvellous Timpanogos Cave National Monument, the steep mountainside of American Fork Canyon is the setting for these incredible limestone caves. The amazing formations are called draperies, popcorn, helicites and flowstone including the well-known stalactites and stalagmites. Provo offers outstanding downhill skiing and other outdoor recreation facility, you’ll also find Midway, Peoa, Lehi, Heber City and Lindon superb towns providing ideal places to stay and from which to explore the beautiful region.
