Austrian chalet in the Green Mountains of north central Vermont, offering romantic guestrooms and cabins with wood stoves. The atmosphere is rural, friendly, informal, and quiet. The inn is open year-around; cabins open Memorial Day through the end of October. Central to Stowe, Montpelier, and Mad River Valley (Sugarbush, Mad River Glen ski areas) – all within 13 miles. Burlington, Lake Champlain are 25 miles. Country location but just 3 miles from town and 5 miles from the highway. Full country breakfasts included. Garden deck, forest trails, self-serve pub/gameroom. Spectacular golf courses, fishing, hiking, on and off road bicycling, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, canoeing/kayaking, glider soaring, horse riding, antique stores, craft stores, artist studios, farmers markets, fine restaurants, museums, and most of all, scenery you will never forget.
