Come experience for yourself why this unique inn is one of only two Select Registry members in the state and why Coastal Living magazine selected it as one of their 2006 favorites.
Montrose Hideaway Bed-and-Breakfast Retreat is a unique inn located in Montrose, Alabama, a community on the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay between Daphne and Fairhope.
Escape to 10.5 private acres and leave the rat race behind, retreating to a hidden paradise while also remaining convenient to shopping, golfing, bayfront parks with fishing piers and walking paths, restaurants, museums, popular attractions and gulf beaches. It is also centrally located between the airports in Mobile and Pensacola, Fla.
A focal point of the grounds is a picturesque spring-fed pond. Don't be surprised if you see a great blue heron, geese, ducks, fox, raccoon or other wildlife taking advantage of the surroundings. There are two park benches positioned on a nearby rise overlooking the pond, providing a tranquil place to reflect and relax. Or relax in the breezy shade of the gazebo or on the hammock under the trees.
Don't think that staying at a bed-and-breakfast is just for when you're on vacation. Business travelers will find all the necessary services and amenities so they can work while also pampering themselves with a home environment for more relaxed productivity.
Let us help you with your accommodations. The hardest part will be choosing from among our luxury rooms.
Let us help you plan your trip with information on area attractions, festivals, special events, concerts and more.
Let us help you with your group event, whether an intimate wedding, business retreat or reunion with family and friends.
Let us help you save, whether you take advantage of the weekday frequency discounts, the weekday business-traveler flat rate, or you redeem a gift certificate.
Let us help you give the perfect gift with one of our customized gift certificates. |

You can make a reservation request by clicking the link from this site or our own. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express, as well as traveler's checks and cash. A credit card is required to process the 50% deposit to secure the reservation even if paying cash on arrival for the remaining balance.
Because we are a small inn, cancellations or any changes in a reservation must be made at least seven days prior to the scheduled check-in date (three days for business travelers; 14 days for holidays and special-event dates). A minimal cancellation fee per cancelled room will be deducted from any refund, no matter when the reservation is canceled or changed, in order to cover processing expenses.
If the entire inn has been reserved, the reservation is handled the same as a special-event booking, with payment due in full 30 days in advance or at the time the reservation is made if within the 30 days. All charges are non-refundable within the 30 days, even if the room nights are rebooked. This is to emphasize the mutual commitment being made by the reservation guarantor and the inn so that all rooms are being reserved for one group and those dates being removed from availability.
Children 12 and older are always welcome; younger children are only allowed when all guest rooms have been reserved by the same party or group.
No smoking or use of tobacco products is allowed inside the inn or on the grounds; all such activity is restricted to the guests' vehicle, with all waste to be disposed of in the car or by requesting a jar from the innkeepers. A fine of $500 will be assessed for blantant disregard of this policy.
Guest pets are not allowed; we have two cats whose territory must be protected.
Our check-in time is 4 to 6 p.m. When necessary, we will make arrangements upon request for a later arrival. However, there may be a late-arrival fee of $25/hour assessed for arrivals after 8 p.m. (9 p.m. for business travelers). |

We believe that traveling on business doesn't have to mean a cookie-cutter hotel room.
Take the money you would have spent on a boring room and breakfast out and use it for all the comforts of home and a lot less hassle.
Your reservation includes luxury accommodations and amenities, a freshly prepared brunch-style breakfast scheduled as early as 8 a.m. (continental breakfast available for early needs by prior arrangment), afternoon refreshments, a desk with adjacent ADSL connection in your room (WiFi in the common areas and some rooms), access to self-service areas with hot and cold drinks, and access to an abundance of common areas and 10.5 acres of private grounds for relaxing and clearing your head.
We offer weekday frequency rates starting with three nights. However, for business travelers, we will give you a discount even if staying only one or two nights (5% if you want a specific room, or 5% if we get to pick). You must mention that you are traveling to conduct business in the local area when making the reservation. The discount is not available during holidays and special-event dates as identified at www.montrosehideaway.com/Discounts.html |
