Way of the Wolf Ranch was purchased by us in 1994. When we welcomed our first guests in this Texas hill country B&B in October of the same year, we knew our desire was to provide a memorable visit for our guests. We continue to experience the joy of sharing this dream with our guests.

Way of the Wolf Ranch offers retreats for individuals and small groups. Retreats can be specifically designed for your personal interests. Your hosts have formal training in spiritual direction and have led several contemplative seminars.

Way of the Wolf Ranch is a destination B&B/Retreat. After a full breakfast of German Apple Pancakes, Blueberry French Toast or another of our delicious menus, our guests can enjoy time around the pool, lounging under the live oaks or sunning while lying in the hammock. There is plenty of room on our 61 acres for hiking. During the walk which could include sitting down at the little spring with a good book or just listening to the sounds of nature, you might see our small herd of colorful Texas Longhorns. The deer are plentiful and there are many songbirds to add pleasure to your stay and... you may occasionally sight a turkey.

The screened porches are great for rocking, reading or just plain gathering. The grill and fire pit are also available for your use. There is time for a game of darts or horseshoes and room for yard games in the grass circle featuring an old Aeromotor windmill. In the fall and winter, guests make the most of the fireplaces in the cabin and the ranch house. Some of our guests have decided to come on back to Way of the Wolf after only a few hours in town to take advantage of the serenity of this peaceful setting.

Way of the Wolf Ranch is located about midway between Fredericksburg and Kerrville. Both communities have several good restaurants and movie theatres. There are often special events taking place on the weekends and the shopping is plentiful. We offer a nice combination of country living with easy access to both towns.
