A visit to a historic bed and breakfast inn is a special event in itself. It is reminiscent of days gone by and a past rich in history. The experience allows you to share past southern traditions in a rather extraordinary fashion.
The distinctive dual turrets of the CW Worth House represent one of Wilmington’s most charming bed & breakfasts. Decorated with fanciful shingles, the CW Worth House is a Queen Anne confection offering seven guestrooms. As you step through the gate, the spacious southern porch invites you to slow down, relax and enjoy.
Wilmington, NC is one of the most beautiful cities on the North Carolina coast. Founded over 250 years ago on the shores of the Cape Fear River, Wilmington has a rich past. Actually, the historic district is the largest district listed in the National Register of Historic Places and a must see. Many fascinating buildings and historic sites are open to the visitor, so you can easily spend a few days exploring. During your visit you can browse the many quaint shops in the Historic District or just take a "southern style stroll" down brick streets rich in architecture. When the evening is about to fall, sit down in the Riverfront Park and enjoy the view or the sunset over the Battleship USS North Carolina. At night there are many things going on as well. Enjoy fine dining-from fresh seafood to international cuisine. Jazz, blues and varied entertainment complete the night scene.

When you enter the home you first notice the original paneling in the foyer while your hosts, Margi and Doug Erickson, greet you warmly and prepare you for your stay. The atmosphere here at the inn is casual and relaxed. Your hosts will be sure you know what is going on in town and their favorite places to shop and dine.
Before sitting to relax, read a book or watch television in the comfortable study, be sure to notice the collection of old cameras in the secretary or Smokey the cat curled up on the floor.
