"The Blue Room has a private bath and heart of pine floors. It is a large room - 17' x 14' - and consists of a Queen bed and a sofa that also opens into a Queen. Please note the lamps on both sides of the bed and plenty of comfortable seating
The Rose Room, with a private, adjoining bath, has a Double Bed and two Twin Beds that can be converted into a King (as shown in the picture) - when making your reservation, be sure to request either King or Twins (because of storage, we might not be able to convert after your arrival). This room has heart of pine floors and has plenty of room (17' x 14'). There are reading lights on both sides of the beds. The Rose Room includes an original fireplace (although it is no longer used as such).
The Yellow Room, is fully carpeted for those who appreciate that feel on their bare feet. It has its private bath and has a Queen Bed. On the window shown above, you will find one of the panes with initials scratched into them. This was done by an 8 year old boy in the 1880s whose descendants are still in Onancock. As in the other rooms, there are reading lights on both sides of the bed and comfortable seating for two.
Living Room
Heart of Pine floors - dual love seats that recline - quiet location -plenty of reading lights. Enjoy your first cup of coffee in the morning with soft music from the CDs or simply relax after a day of activities or after a fine dinner in one of Onancock's excellent restaurants or just any time. The room includes a piano, lots of comfortable seating, magazines, satellite TV, a VCR with a supply of videos and a stereo with CD

"All of our rooms are spacious, are located on the second floor (none higher) and have private bathrooms. Our beds have nice firm mattresses and (except for the twins) are topped with feather beds ! The house has central air conditioning (dual zoned and of course much quieter than individual room units) and we are located within easy walking distance of excellent restaurants.
Prior to dinner, please join us every afternoon for complimentary Wine and Cheese between 5 and 6:00." |
