"The Main Building
The James Monroe Room is located in the Main House. Decorated in warm reds and yellows, the colors of Provence, with a natural yellow pine floor. Italian tiles complement the full bath. Nightly room tariff December 1 through March 31 is $140 Friday and Saturday, and $135 Sunday through Thursday. Rates for April 1 through November 30 are $150 Friday and Saturday, with a two-night minimum stay, and $135 Sunday through Thursday. Some weekends require a three-day minimum stay.
Mr. Jefferson's room was originally built in 1812 and served as the dormitory of a boys' school from 1812 to 1860. It offers a beautiful solid cherry king size four-poster bed with a canopy, fireplace, and full bath. With the room located in the main house, guests awaken to the aroma of freshly ground and brewed coffee. Nightly room tariff December 1 through March 31 is $165 Friday and Saturday, and $150 Sunday through Thursday. The James Madison room is located in the corner of the main building and features a lovely king-sized, four-poster bed, fireplace, and full bath. It was originally designed to be the bedroom of dean Runk. This room offers a view of the courtyard, and the Silver Thatch elm, over 150 years old. Nightly room tariff December 1 through March 31 is $165 Friday and Saturday, and $150 Sunday through Thursday.
