Juniper Hill Bed & Breakfast and American Impressionist Art Gallery is nestled on nearly four acres and is within easy walking distance to the Main Street of Trumansburg, NY. Formerly known as the historic Biggs Mansion, Juniper Hill Bed & Breakfast offers quiet privacy yet convenient access to Ithaca shops and fine dining, Cornell University and Ithaca State College.

Published rates are subject to change without notice and may vary according to availability, special events, and holidays. Room rate is for single or double occupancy. Prices do not include 11% NYS sales and room taxes.

A credit card or cash/check deposit is required to reserve a room. Prepayment of 50% of total or cost of one night's stay, whichever is greater, will confirm your reservation. If reserving less then two weeks before arrival full payment is required.

Your reservation balance is collected upon arrival and check-in.

Check-in
Check-in is between 4 and 8pm. Late check-in requires notification at time of reservation or as far in advance as possible. Check-out is by 11am. We accept Visa/MasterCard, Checks, and Cash.

Early check-in or late check-out when available is an additional $25 per hour. With 24 hour notice, if your early arrival time changes, we will gladly credit your bill.

All unregistered guests must sign in upon arrival. Well-mannered children 13 and over are welcome. Children under 18 years of age cannot be left at Juniper Hill without an adult parent or guardian accompanying them.

Cancellations
14 days notice is required for cancellation to avoid a cancellation charge, 60 days for Cornell and Ithaca graduations. Cancellation charge is equal to your deposit of 50% or one night's stay, whichever is greater. Early departures and cancellations less than two weeks/60 days, will be refunded for days not stayed only if we are able to rebook the days; and your refund, if any, would be determined and sent to you after the intended reservation date. A non-refundable $25 administrative fee is applied to all confirmed reservation changes.

Juniper Hill's bedrooms are all freshly renovated preserving the original layout and detailing of the mansion. The rooms feature hardwood floors, oriental carpets, rich fabrics, historic colors, turn of the century decor and original period art. Each has king or queen sized beds dressed in fine linens and private baths with spa inspired amenities. All bathrooms have large windows, heated marble mosaic floors, subway/marble/glass tiles, and polished nickel fixtures reflecting the period.

The main floor of Juniper Hill Bed & Breakfast serves as a common relaxation and socializing area for guests, as well as display space for The Art Gallery at Juniper Hill. The Art Gallery concentrates on American Impressionist Fine Art of the early 20th century, reflective of the era of construction of the historic mansion. All paintings and select antiques, furnishings, and objects of interest in the Bed & Breakfast are available for sale.

Meals

Juniper Hill B&B serves a full gourmet breakfast each morning between 8-9am in our formal dining room with fireplace or large, sunny enclosed three-season porch, weather permitting. Each features both individual and combined seating arrangements to suit your taste.

Breakfast at Juniper Hill is always plentiful and imaginative. Our three- course breakfast features a combination of fruit, sweet, and a hot savory main course.

Examples you may expect to taste include Banana Yogurt Parfaits, Oatmeal Sundaes, Apple Pizza, Cranberry Cobblers, Juniper Hill Cinnabun Scones, Gorgonzola-Pear Stuffed French Toast, Birds' Nest Quiche, Breakfast Risotto, Egg Sandwich Strata, Homemade English Muffins, and Granola.

Juniper Hill is truly located in the heart of the Finger Lakes. We are within minutes of both Seneca and Cayuga Lakes and their Wine Trails, as well as Ithaca, home to Cornell University and Ithaca State College. Discover easy access to fine dining, shopping, museums, music, theater, hiking, boating, breathtaking waterfalls and gorges in Upstate NY.

For those who prefer to leave their cars on site, Juniper Hill is a short walk to the shops and restaurants on Main Street, Trumansburg/Route 96. The Trumansburg golf course is less than half a mile down the street. Around the corner is the infamous Rongovian Embassy, and a side-walked stroll takes you to the Trumansburg Fairgrounds, home to the Grassroots Festival. Every Wednesday afternoon May through October, local produce and crafts are available at the nearby Trumansburg Farmers' Market. We offer our assistance in exploring all the local area has to offer.

During winter, enjoy great downhill skiing just 30 miles from Trumansburg, 18 miles from Ithaca, at Greek Peak Ski Resort in Cortland, NY.

There is so much to do in the Finger Lakes area, you’ll have to either stay weeks, come back often; or do like we did, just move here.
