"You can enjoy any or all of this while staying in one of the five incredible suites inside the Bed and Breakfast or in one of the two detached cabins! Most of the accommodations have fireplaces, whirlpool tubs, and of course, the fantastic view!
The Illahee Manor Bed and Breakfast has a long and colorful history beginning with the owner's Grandmother, Goldie McCain. Goldie purchased the Cabin in 1921, with her own money, much to her husband Rodney's chagrin. This was her summer home. She and Rodney invited friends, the Clempners, to visit and they too fell in love with the beautiful Illahee area and bought the undeveloped joining property. The Clempners, Russian immigrants, built the main house in 1926, patterning it after a home they had known in Russia.
Those who visit are amazed and delighted by the luxurious grounds. If escape is what you are after, the accommodations and waterfront offer you a peaceful place to relax as far as away from the hectic world as you want to get but only minutes away from restaurants, golf courses and major shopping. Illahee Manor is just a ferry ride from Seattle and Port Orchard.
Each of the five suites inside the Bed and Breakfast are very different as are the flavors of each of the two cabins. Many have great views, Jacuzzi tubs, and fireplaces. All of the suits include a three-course breakfast prepared by our in-house chef. Also included are private baths, robes, hairdryers, cable TV/VCRs and radio alarm clocks." |
