Although the original house was built in 1909, this B & B is not called an "Old House" for its years. The home's young addition was the featured project on a popular home improvement television series, and lasted through all twenty-six episodes of the season.

The bold project included designing and constructing a new master bedroom and bathroom, kitchen, an adjacent family room, basement, garage, whole-house audio system personally installed by Dr. Bose, and two outdoor decks: one constructed of wood outside the kitchen and the other of granite accompanied by a welcoming goldfish pond.

Only eleven miles from Boston, this Bed and Breakfast remains nestled in one of Boston's most beautiful and historical suburbs. Two blocks from the scenic Minuteman Bikeway and only minutes from Lexington's historic museums and parks , guests enjoy easy access to the best of two worlds - the comforting charm of peaceful Lexington along with the cosmopolitan life of vibrant Boston.

Morgan's Rest - Morgan's Rest Bed and Breakfast is located in Lexington, Massachusetts. We are west of Boston, but very convenient for visitors traveling into the city. The Alewife subway station (beginning of the red line) is less than ten minutes away and has ample parking facilities. Outside of rush hour, Boston is a 20 minute drive.

Each of our guest rooms has its own private bath, air conditioning, cable internet access, cable television and VCR. We have a nice selection of videos, books, cds, or games for your amusement.
