History & Overview
Prior to the mid-seventies if you said you went to Orlando for vacation, people would say, ""Where the heck is that?"" Before Walt Disney began building his famous empire there, Orlando was just a quiet little cow-town. Today it's still a fairly mellow place, but it's a city now - one with art museums, parks, a college, and some fantastic shops and restaurants.

Orlando is the home of truly world-famous attractions - over 60 of them to be exact. Nowhere else can you learn about Pacific Ocean sealife, science and technology of the future, artworks from all over the world, and how movies are made - all in the same week!
