From the entry you pass into the reception hall that is the first floor of a three-story tower. The copper-colored walls are adorned with old mirrors and religious icons call "retablos". Three large windows overlook the lake The staircase to the second floor boasts multicolored Talavera tile steps and wrought iron handrail and lanterns. The Feathered Serpent slithers along the base of the handrail of the steps.

Wrought iron lamps adorn the ceilings in the living and dining rooms. A gracious combination of rattan sofas draped with Oaxacan rugs, and hand made Aztec calendar tables complete the decor in the living room.
