Gateway Bed and Breakfast

Gateway Bed and Breakfast has been voted "Best of the City" by Cincinnati Magazine
A warm welcome awaits you at the Gateway Bed & Breakfast in historic Newport. This beautifully restored 1878 Italianate Townhouse was built by Henry Schriver and restored by the present owners, Ken and Sandy Clift.
Gateway Bed & Breakfast is located next door to the Water Tower Square in the East Row Historic District, approximately five minutes to downtown Cincinnati, Ohio and 4 blocks to Newport on the Levee.
The house has been restored and is exquisitely decorated with antiques. When visiting, you may hear the player piano or the victrola spinning the old records as you stroll through this home filled with Victorian charm.
When Ken and Sandy Clift purchased this circa 1878 house in 1989 it had been through fire, tornado, conversion to a multi-family rental, and years of neglect. Gateway's history and restoration was recently filmed on the HGTV program. Click here for more information about the history and restoration of this beautiful home.
