Three rooms on the second floor:

Balcony Room: Queen bed plus 2 twin beds; private bath.
Ideal for family of four. Deck overlooks the brook. $70-$90

Sunrise Room: Queen bed.
Sunset Room: King-size bed converts to twins-your choice.

The above two rooms share a half-bath on the second floor
and a full bath on first floor. $60-$70

And one on the first floor:

Chandelier Room: Double bed and trundle bed will accommodate
up to four. French doors onto deck, shared bath on first floor. $50-$60.

Rates are for the room per night with continental or full
breakfast prepared to order by the hostess. Refreshments
served upon arrival.

All rates are for double occupancy. $10 for each additional
person in the room per night.

"On the second floor are three distinctive guest rooms. The most popular is the Balcony Room with a private bath, queen bed and two twin beds, sliding glass door that opens onto a private deck overlooking the brook, where you may choose to have your first cup of coffee, sit and read, or just listen to the babbling stream, the birds and frogs. The Sunrise Room has a queen bed and available rollaway, while the Sunset Room has two twin beds which are made up into a king size upon request. Both rooms can use a half bath on that level as well as a full bath on the first floor. A pair of bathrobes is provided in all rooms. Each room has a ceiling fan; the hallway has air conditioning.
A fourth bedroom, the Chandelier Room, has a double bed plus a trundle bed, and French doors onto the wraparound deck. The room's chandelier is a family heirloom originally from Canada that burned oil at one time.
The living room, with satellite TV, is a popular place in the evenings for guests to gather and chat. Equally popular is the glass-on-three-sides dining area where breakfast is served, as well as the porch, deck and lawns with outdoor furniture where you may enjoy the flowers or find a quiet place to commune with nature along the creek. Quite frequently deer are seen bounding across the fields or feeding behind the barn.
Breakfast: Awake to the aroma of baking bread or muffins and fresh-brewed coffee. The full breakfast menu offers the guests a choice of fresh fruit, juices, waffles, pancakes, ham and cheese omelets, eggs as you wish, hot oatmeal, or stuffed French toast with real maple syrup. Breakfast is served from 7:30 to 9 a.m. and Continental breakfast is available for early risers upon request. "

There are several rural roads for a morning walk or for short or full-day bicycling outings. The beautiful St. Lawrence River is only 7 miles to the north for boating or fishing trips and the International Bridge at Ogdensburg (your gateway to Canada) is 16 miles away. Country Quiet, located at 1350 County Road 31, is equidistant from the small villages of Madrid, Lisbon and Waddington and only 20 miles from the larger college towns of Canton and Potsdam, homes of St. Lawrence University, Clarkson University, SUNY Potsdam, and Canton College of Technology. From here you may also reach the foothills of the Adirondack mountains in less than an hour."
