"Old House On a Hill is a three story 1860 Farm Colonial originally built to receive summer guests. In 1891 the house was incorporated as part of the 115 acre hotel complex, The Mongaup House, and eventually served as servants lodging.

Once again, this small gem welcomes guests to beautiful Sullivan County. Now as a private home, it features charming period furnishings and original floor to ceiling wainscotting in all four rooms.
A full breakfast with European flavors awaits you in the morning.
Before you're off to enjoy the rest of the day you may choose to lounge on the porch or take in the scent of the meadow grass from the benches overlooking our five acres.

"Sullivan County offers many activities such as hiking, walking, bicycling, down hill and cross-country skiing, golfing, hunting, fishing, boating, raftingand unique antique shops all in a radius of 1-30 minutes from our Inn.
We are open year-round and welcome hunters and fishermen. Many lakes
and beaches are in the area for all forms of water activities. We have five acres for your exploration and are just a short driving distance to Superior Lake, White Lake and the Delaware River. There are ample
opportunities to enjoy Cultural Activities and partake in sightseeing
trips to local historical Museums, covered bridges and the Catskill Preserve.
A variety of fine and atmospheric restaurants are available to accomodate your culinary tastes.
