"Choose the spacious Yellow Room with its king-sized bed, cedar and tile sitting area, and private bath that offers expansive views of both Lake Champlain to the west and Camel's Hump to the east, or watch the morning mist rise over the lake from the queen-sized bed in the cozy Green Room, with an adjacent bath.
Each room is thoughtfully decorated, featuring hand painted furniture and walls. All the Inn's décor reflects the Innkeepers' unique international lifestyle with touches of Asia, Africa, and Europe.
From sunrise to sunset, you can relish the beauty, simplicity and variety of Vermont. Hiking, bicycling and boating bring you close to its natural wonders. Head to the Morgan Horse Farm, the Wildflower Farm, an apple orchard or berry farm, or ride the historic Charlotte Ferry across Lake Champlain to the quaint town of Essex, NY.
Save a day for Burlington, Vermont's largest city with a small town feel. Browse shops on the pedestrian Church Street Marketplace or stroll along the city's waterfront. Restaurants and nightspots abound to satisfy every taste. Take to the water for a sunset dinner cruise or sail around the islands just off Burlington's shore.
Winter brings peace and pristine beauty to the landscape. Come for a restful weekend in front of a wood fire, or peruse the many antique shops and country stores. Work up a hearty appetite snow shoeing or cross-country skiing nearby or head to one of several renowned downhill ski resorts within an hour's drive.
A full gourmet breakfast prepared by your hostess, who is also a caterer, starts your day, and tea in the afternoon will refresh you for the evening. Dinner may be prepared to order if you decide not to head into town.

No matter what recreation you choose, you can begin and end the day in the comfort, beauty and hospitality of Karin's Inn."

"Burlington and the University of Vermont lie just 12 miles north and Shelburne Farms and Museum are just minutes away. Head south a few miles to Vergennes and Middlebury College, or stay local to hike up Mt. Philo, the country's first state park, for an unparalleled vista of the Champlain Valley."
