Winter in Vermont, the Mountains are inviting skiers and snowmobilers. We have sharpened the skies and decorated the Inn for Christmas. The barn has dry wood for the parlor and your room. What is more romantic than a cozy room by the fire on a cold winter's day?
The Vermont mountains have been attracting travelers for centuries, as they attract to this day. The hunters in orange have made way for the snowmobiles, snowshoers and skiers. Enjoy the day photographing the villages ice fishing shacks. There is always something to capture the eye of the creative.
With the ski mountains nearby, Wilmington and West Dover are loaded with activities and fine restaurants one would expect in a resort area. Yet Southern Vermont retains its rural character.
After the day activities retreat to the Candlelight by a warm fire in the parlor or in your room and make plans for tomorrow."
