Just out our back door are hundreds of square miles of BLM and San Juan National Forest land. Within a few minutes ride is the magnificent Dolores River Canyon Rim . From the ranch and lodge you will see to our north the LaSals , to our west the Abaho's or ""Blues"" and to the south the ""Sleeping Ute"". You will want to bring your camera on this trip because ""It doesn't get much better than this"". To the east of the ranch are the LaPlata's (silver in spanish), as you get closer to the Dolores River Canyon Rim you will be able to see the LaPlata's."
